Reviewer’s Guide
If you are going to review Flashcard Friends, here are some of the things you’ll want to check-out:
Registration: We make it simple (I hope) but we also provide things like a contacts importer and a search for friends already using the system. This helps with the viral spread.
Search: You can find and use flashcards right away. You can also navigate to flashcards in any category.
Login: If I can use someone else’s decks, why register and login? You’ll want to login to copy decks and edit them, set-up your profile, create your own decks and rate other peoples’ decks…more to come.
The video: You really must try the video. That made for radio voice is yours truly…unfortunately I have a made for radio face as well. People say I sound like Jack in the Jack in the Box commercials.
Pictures and Sounds: One of the cool things about online flashcards is adding pictures and sounds. Sounds are great for foreign languages. We have a very cool sounds feature coming soon.
Create a deck in the spelling category: Flashcards for spelling? Trust me, try it, you’ll like it.
Learning Modes: We offer 4 modes for learning flashcards, list, flash, flip and print. My daughter prefers flip, while my son prefers flash, they can’t agree on anything.
Testing: It rocks! ‘nuff said. Actually, try configuring it to “Correct immediately” (I’m totally into immediate gratification).
Search: Find Friends: It’s always good to have friends. I only have one friend and he’s in the diamond business (sorry inside joke referring to Tom Shane).
